Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Urology physician for an ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Start date 3/1/2027; building a candidate pool for 2027 coverage.
- Newly renovated urology office with 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms; long-tenured staff
- Support staff: 3 medical assistants, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff and practice manager
- Minimum 14 patients per day; mix of clinic, OR and daytime hospital rounds/consults; no nights or weekends
- 73-bed hospital; ureteroscopies; Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• See a minimum of 14 patients per day (new patient visits 30 min max; post-ops 15 min)
• No night or weekend call; no pediatric patients
• Coverage of approximately 6 weeks per month; Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience (new grads accepted)
• Epic experience in a clinic setting required
• PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand; DEA required
