Urologist Locum Opportunity – Aurora, IL

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a 26-week locum assignment in Aurora, Illinois, beginning January 2027. This is a flexible, part-time clinic opportunity focused on bread-and-butter Urology, with optional additional call coverage available.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: January 25, 2027
• Assignment Length: 26 weeks
• Locum Tenens / 1099
• 1 physician needed
• Approximately 2–3 shifts per week
• Flexible weekdays

Schedule

• Day shifts: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Approximately 2–3 eight-hour clinic shifts per week
• Flexible weekday scheduling
• No required call for the clinic position

Optional Call Coverage

Physicians interested in additional coverage may also be considered for:

• Up to 3 additional 24-hour call shifts per week
• Emergency Department Urology coverage
• Inpatient rounding

Call coverage is optional and separate from the primary clinic need.

• Epic EMR

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Urology
• Minimum 2 years of bread-and-butter Urology experience
• DEA required
• Illinois license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
• Local candidates preferred, but travelers considered

Credentialing & Travel

• Approximately 3-month credentialing timeframe
• Travel expenses billable
• Orientation hours billable
