Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Urologist for short-term locum tenens call coverage at Verde Valley Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Cottonwood, AZ. Dates: August 15-19, 2026.
- 99-bed hospital; adult IV trauma center
- 24-hour call; average callback 2-6 hours per day
- 3-4 OR cases per week; approx. 20 clinic patients per day
- Cerner EMR; disposable flexible cystoscopes available
Job Responsibilities
• Perform 3-4 OR surgeries per week and see approx. 20 clinic patients per day
• Procedures: ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, flexible cystoscopy; TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy preferred
• Work with 1 PA and 2 permanent physicians
Qualifications
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ; AZ DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Phone interview required
