Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Urologist for locum tenens 24-hour call coverage at a 99-bed hospital in Cottonwood, AZ.
- Call coverage with average callback of 2-6 hours per day
- 3-4 OR cases per week; ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and cystoscopy
- Works with two permanent physicians; robotics available but not required
- Coverage on specific dates (Aug 15-19) plus additional July-Dec dates
- Arizona license or IMLC LOQ required
Job Responsibilities
• Perform ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy (3-4 OR cases per week)
• In-clinic procedures such as vasectomy and TRUS biopsy preferred; clinic of ~20 patients per day
• Work alongside 2 perm physicians and a PA; Cerner charting
Qualifications
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Experience with ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy
