Job description Urology call coverage at adult community hospitals in the greater St. Louis, MO area. Pay is $2,527.20 per 24-hour call period, which includes 2 hours gratis, plus $421.20/hr for callback time beyond that. Roughly 5 to 7 call periods a month, primarily weekends with some variation. You cover one or two hospitals at a time and know your assignment in advance. Ongoing coverage starting as soon as credentialing allows, targeting mid-November. Travel is covered.

Job Responsibilities

Emergency department and inpatient urology call coverage, 7:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Respond to emergency callbacks within 30 minutes. The estimate is 20 to 30 calls, and not every call requires onsite presence. General urology procedures and consults at adult community hospitals. Chart in Epic.

Qualifications

Board certified in urology. Missouri and Illinois licensure required: hold both, or hold an IMLC letter of qualification and we will guide you through obtaining them. BLS. COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical and religious exemptions considered.

Working Hours

24-hour call, 7:00 PM to 7:00 PM. About 5 to 7 call periods per month, mostly weekends. 30-minute response time for emergency callbacks.
