Locum - Urology - MD/DO

Job Title: Urologist - Locum Position in Pendleton, OR

Summary: Join a dynamic team at a well-respected hospital located in beautiful Pendleton, Oregon. This facility is looking for a skilled urologist to fill a temporary position for up to 12 months, starting in December. The practice setting includes a hospital and a physician clinic, offering both surgical and clinic responsibilities. Job Responsibilities:

• Attend to clinic patients and provide surgical services.
• Be on-call for hospital emergencies and admissions.
• Perform a variety of urological procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Circumcision/Dorsal S
  • Orchiopexy
  • Cysto Stent Placement
  • Cystoscopy
  • Hydrocelectomy
  • Transurethral INC of Turbt
  • Prostate Biopsy
• Collaborate with clinic MA, perioperative nurses, and RNs.
• Maintain a minimum of 17 patients in the clinic daily.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Urology (preferred). Board Eligible candidates will be considered if they are recent graduates from residency and will obtain certification within 12 months.
• Completion of a residency program in Urology (required).
• Candidates must possess a clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
• Ability to effectively manage daily clinic patient load.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Oregon state medical license (highly preferred) or willingness to obtain during credentialing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Current DEA certification (required).
