Clinical Role

• ASAP start
• Inpatient and outpatient Urology coverage
• Coverage needed due to a gap in staffing
• Approximately 18 patients per day
• Clinic and hospital/OR coverage
• Provider will work independently
• Both hospital and clinic privileges required

Schedule & Call

• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Typical non-call week: approximately 4 clinic days and 1 OR day
• Typical call week: 3 clinic days, 1 OR day, and 7 days of 24-hour call
• Administrative/off day built into call-week schedule
• 7 days of call per month
• Beeper call with approximately 0-4 after-hours calls/texts
• 10-minute return-call response time
• Approximately 30-minute response radius

Practice Setting & Case Mix

• Clinic and hospital settings approximately 1 mile apart
• Erectile dysfunction
• Kidney stones
• Male incontinence
• Prescription/refill management
• General Urology evaluation and treatment

Procedures

• Catheter placement
• Stent placement
• Cystoscopy
• TURP
• Ureteroscopy
• Prostate biopsy
• Circumcision
• ESWL
• Orchiopexy
• TURBT
• Hydrocelectomy
• Spermatocelectomy
• PVP
• Litholapaxy
• Surgical assisting
• Standard clinic and operating room Urology procedures

Support & Systems

• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Urology required
• Active Washington license must be in hand at presentation
• IMLC not currently accepted
• BLS and ACLS required through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as applicable
• Fast-track or urgent credentialing anticipated
