Job Responsibilities

  • Perform standard urology procedures in both clinic and operating room environments
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence
  • Conduct cystoscopies and surgical assists
  • Provide after-hour call services on a rotational 7-day basis each month
  • Maintain case logs demonstrating a breadth of surgical services provided

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Washington state medical license or an IMLC with a Letter of Qualification
  • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • Experience with Da Vinci surgical system is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Evidence of clinical activity in the last 24 months with a case list of at least 100 procedures

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Call duties entail 7 days of unrestricted call per month, with a requirement for a 10-minute return call response and a 30-45 minute travel radius

Skills

  • Proficient with EPIC EMR systems
  • Capable of performing diverse urological procedures including catheter and STENT placement, cystoscopy, TURP, and others
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities to integrate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary care team
