Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, NY needs a urologist, starting 11/30/2026, ongoing. $438.90/hour, $3,145.45/24hr call, $585.20/hr callback. Full-time preferred, will also accept 2 providers splitting coverage (2 weeks/month each).

Job Responsibilities

Bread and butter urology, primarily outpatient with inpatient consults, procedures, and post-op rounding as needed. About 20 patients a day. Level III trauma center, OR block 7:30am-3pm with no case limit, limited robotic availability (typically not on urology days). Adults only (18+). Call is flexible based on how many days you're willing to take a month, 24-hour call 7am-7am. Current staff: 1 full-time provider, 2 LPNs, 2 CNA/CMAs, 1 patient representative, 4 exam rooms. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Board certified in the US required. Active NY license, client open to licensing candidates. Epic experience required. BLS required. Work history must be current with no gaps over 30 days; any malpractice, dismissed or not, requires a physician statement.

Working Hours

M-F 8am-5pm preferred. Clinic currently runs M-Th 8am-5:30pm. Call flexible, 24-hour shifts 7am-7am.
