Locums – Olympia, Washington, Urology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Clinical Role

• ASAP start with ongoing need
• 2 Urologists requested
• Approximately 10-12 days of coverage per month
• Combination of clinic, scheduled OR, and call coverage
• Weekday and weekend availability preferred
• Up to 16 clinic patients per shift

Schedule & Coverage

• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm
• Approximately 3 full clinic days per week
• Approximately 2 days of scheduled OR block time
• Approximately one-third of clinic days dedicated to office procedures
• 24-hour call: 7:00 am-7:00 am
• Call coverage varies; typically approximately 3-4 days per month

Practice Setting & Procedures

• Cystoscopies
• Fusion biopsies
• Bladder biopsies
• Urodynamic testing
• Additional scheduled surgical cases

Call Expectations

• Sole Urologist on call with APP backup support
• Assigned and unassigned patients
• 30-minute response time required
• Approximately 5-6 phone consultations
• Approximately 3-4 patients seen while on call
• Approximately 2-3 admissions
• Admissions required

Support & Systems

• Current team includes 1 Urologist, 3 PA-Cs, 1 RN, and 8 MAs
• Epic EMR
• Level IV Trauma Center

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Urology required
• Active Washington license or IMLC accepted
• Fellowship training preferred
