Northern California, Neurohospitalist Physician ~ Greater San Francisco Bay Area
A leading healthcare organization serving the North Bay is seeking a Neurohospitalist Physician to join its growing neurology team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced resources and a strong support team.
Position Highlights
Provide inpatient neurological consultation and management for acute and complex conditions.
Collaborate with hospitalists, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, critical care, cardiology, and other specialists.
Hybrid opportunity to provide general neurology and/or stroke follow-up in outpatient clinics.
24/7 tele-neurology backup.
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical education.
Full-time opportunity; part-time may be considered.
Leadership opportunities available.
Epic electronic health record.
Position Requirements
M.D. or D.O.
Fellowship training in Neurohospitalist Medicine, Stroke, or Vascular Neurology preferred.
Board certified or board eligible.
California medical license or eligibility.
Strong communication skills and commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $325,000–$375,000.
Final starting compensation may vary based on factors including professional experience, qualifications, and patient care schedules. Additional compensation may be available for candidates who meet or exceed specific qualifications and requirements.
