- Exciting Locum Tenens Urology opportunity at a Level II Trauma Center and hospital in Nebraska.
- $3,200 per 24-hour call with 4 hours gratis.
- $400/hour for callback.
- Coverage available for select dates in November and December.
- Hospital-based opportunity with coverage focused on Urology call.
- Practice setting includes the Emergency Department and Surgery.
- Supportive surgical team including on-call surgery nurses and technicians.
- Hospitalists are responsible for patient admissions.
- Call volume can vary, with some days having no Urology consults and other days having approximately 4–5 consults.
- Average callback workload is approximately 1–2 hours.
- EPIC EMR.
- Travel and lodging support available.
- Excellent opportunity for a Urologist seeking focused call coverage with a predictable schedule and strong compensation.
Job Responsibilities
Receive appropriate handoff from the existing Urology team.
Evaluate and manage Urology consultations from the Emergency Department.
Provide inpatient Urology consultation as needed.
Perform general Urology procedures and interventions within scope of practice.
Respond to callback needs during assigned call periods.
Collaborate with hospitalists, emergency department staff, surgeons, nurses, and technicians.
Document patient care appropriately in EPIC.
Hospitalists will manage patient admissions.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology – Required
Nebraska Medical License – Highly Preferred
DEA – Required
Clean malpractice history – Highly Preferred
Case logs from the last 2 years – Required at presentation
Candidates must be able to work with EPIC EMR.
Working Hours
November 26–30
December 24–28
24-hour call compensation: $3,200
4 hours gratis included
Callback: $400/hour
Average worked callback time: approximately 1–2 hours
Hospitalists handle patient admissions.
No routine clinic responsibilities
