Urology Locum Opportunity
- Practice Setting: Hospital
- Hospital Size: 99 beds
- EMR: Cerner
- Avg. Daily Clinic Census: 20 patients/day
Coverage & Schedule
- Coverage: 24-hour call
- November: Nov 26, 8:00 AM – Nov 28, 8:00 AM
- December: Dec 23, 8:00 AM – Dec 28, 8:00 AM
- Average Callback: 2–6 hours/day
- OR Volume: 3–4 surgeries per week
- Clinic Procedures: 10–15 per week
Support
- 2 permanent physicians
- 1 PA
- MAs assigned
Procedures
Required:
- Ureteroscopy
- Laser lithotripsy
- TURP
- TURBT
- Flexible cystoscopy
Preferred but not required:
- TRUS biopsy
- In-clinic vasectomy
- Outpatient infant circumcision
Equipment:
- Robotics available, but not required
- Disposable flexible cystoscopes available
Provider Requirements
- Board Certification: BC or BE
- License: Arizona license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA: Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Interview: Phone interview
- Credentialing: Approximately 30 days
Facility Requirements
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
- Flu Vaccine: Required
- Charting: Cerner
