Job description A hospital in the Wausau, WI area needs a Board Certified Urologist for ongoing call-only coverage, ASAP start. Pay is $380/hr. This is call coverage for unassigned patients only, no clinic responsibility, no admissions. Approximately 20 phone consults and 10 patients seen per 24 hours. Case mix includes stone cases and stent placement, with flexibility to work with schedules and cover other case types as needed. Level 2 trauma, stroke-certified facility. Epic EMR.

Job Responsibilities

Provide beeper call coverage for unassigned urology patients, including phone consults and in-person evaluation as needed. Manage stone cases, stent placement, and other urologic cases as they arise. Respond within a 20-minute call requirement.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Urology, required. Active Wisconsin license or IMLC required, licensing costs not reimbursed. PALS required. Fellowship preferred.

Working Hours

Call-only coverage, beeper call, flexible scheduling worked out to fit the provider.

Skills

Comfortable managing a moderate-volume beeper call caseload centered on stone cases and stents, with openness to broader urologic case coverage. Epic EMR.
