Job Responsibilities
Role: Urologist (Urology Specialist)
Department/Unit: Urology Department
Facility Size: 99 beds
Trauma Level: Not specified
Clinical Focus: Adult urology patients, outpatient procedures
Key Procedures/Skills: Ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, flexible cystoscopy
Support Staff: 1 PA, no other MDs, Mas assigned
Team Structure: No other physicians on-site, support from physician assistant
Practice Setting: Hospital-based outpatient and surgical procedures
EMR: Cerner
Peripheral Technologies: Robotic available (not required)
Qualifications
Valid Arizona license or IMLC acceptance
DEA required
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
Procedures required: Ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, flexible cystoscopy
Preferred procedures: TRUS biopsy, in-clinic vasectomy
Must be vaccinated for COVID and Flu; exemptions considered case-by-case
Credentialing timeframe: Approx. 30 days
