A prominent Level II trauma facility in Hudson County is seeking a skilled physician for a 13-week locum contract running from September 28, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Offering dedicated on-call coverage, a full Sunday-through-Saturday schedule, and Epic EMR integration, this assignment provides an ideal opportunity for an experienced travel physician.

The Opportunity

Step into a solo call coverage role, delivering emergency and inpatient urology consultations across a busy Level II trauma environment.

• Clinical Scope: Lead emergency and inpatient urologic care while on call, including:

  • Managing acute urological emergencies, trauma consults, and inpatient bedside management

  • Providing comprehensive coverage across hospital units (floating between designated units/facilities as required)

  • Documenting patient care and order entry via Epic EMR

• The Schedule & Shift Structure: Dedicated 7-day on-call coverage (Sunday through Saturday).

• Practice Autonomy & Support: Solo provider setup (no APP supervision or management responsibilities required).

• Assignment Duration: 13-week contract (September 28, 2026 – December 31, 2026).

Candidate Requirements

Interested candidates must demonstrate prior travel/locum experience and independent trauma center call management.

• Degree & Board Status: MD or DO; Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology.

• Licensure: Active, unencumbered New Jersey State Medical License.

• Experience: Prior locum tenens or travel experience required.

• Technical Skills: Epic EMR proficiency preferred.
