Job description
• Join a premier, multi-facility regional health system in west-central Ohio offering a permanent, high-priority Urology position. Operating within a comprehensive 300-bed regional medical center that serves a 10-county catchment area, this role focuses on the advanced diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform a full spectrum of general urologic surgeries and modern, minimally invasive procedures within a state-of-the-art operative suite.
• Manage a balanced clinical workflow providing both high-acuity inpatient care and dedicated outpatient specialty clinic services.
• Provide expert urologic consultations to the emergency department and internal medicine inpatient teams.
• Maintain efficient, thorough, and compliant electronic medical documentation for all patient encounters.
Qualifications
• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology.
• Active Ohio state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure).
• Proven proficiency across both traditional open and modern minimally invasive/endourologic procedures.
• Ability to meet all medical staff credentialing and hospital surgical privileging standards.
Working Hours
• Shared urology call rotation schedule to be detailed directly during the initial interview phase.
Skills
• Evaluation and management of acute and chronic urologic disease processes.
• High-efficiency multi-setting clinical workflow management (clinic, OR, and inpatient rounds).
• Exceptional surgical judgment, complication management, and meticulous operative documentation.
• Patient-centered communication tailored for sensitive urologic and reproductive health conditions.
