Pennsylvania. This position provides 24-hour hospital and surgical coverage, with the physician seeing patients on-site while also taking phone calls from surrounding facilities as needed.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide 24-hour hospital and surgical coverage.
• Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of urologic conditions.
• Provide urologic consultations and inpatient care.
• Participate in surgical coverage and procedures within the scope of privileges.
• Provide telephone consultation and support for surrounding medical locations as needed.
• Manage approximately 10–12 hours of callback activity per day.
• Provide coverage for patients of all ages requiring urologic care.
• Work independently without APP support.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR.
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff and referring providers.
Qualifications
• Assignment Duration: As needed / PRN
• Coverage: 24-hour hospital and surgical coverage
• Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Working Hours
• November 16 at 7:00 AM – November 23 at 7:00 AM
• December 21 at 7:00 AM – December 28 at 7:00 AM
• PRN coverage approximately once every 12–14 weeks.
• 2 hours gratis for 24-hour call.
• No APP support.
