Locum Urologist – KY- 24hr In House call
Location:
- Kentucky
Job Type:
- Locum Tenens
Practice Setting:
- Hospital-based
- Primarily inpatient (100% inpatient), with potential for some outpatient procedures
Coverage Need:
- Ongoing
- 7–10 days per month
Schedule
:- 24-hour in-house call
Call Details:
- Call required
- Call ratio: 4–6
- Average callback time: 2–8 hours
Providers Needed:
- 1–3
Patient Population:
- Adults
Daily Volume:
- Approximately 6–12 patients/day
Required Skills & Procedures:
- General Urology
- Ureteroscopy
- Advanced endoscopic techniques
- Laser certification
- ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) available on Tuesdays
Support Staff:
- Two onsite ambulatory APRNs
EMR:
- Epic
Credentialing
- Estimated timeframe: 90 days
- Temporary privileges: Available
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology
- Updated CV
- NPDB ( Current month Copy)
- Kentucky medical license or active IMLC
- DEA
- ACLS preferred
