Take your career to the next level with this locum tenens Urology Physician opportunity in Longview, Washington. This high-demand travel assignment offers the opportunity to practice across both inpatient and outpatient settings while performing a broad range of urologic procedures in the clinic and operating room. Work independently while caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a collaborative medical environment. This assignment provides a balanced mix of clinic, operating room, and optional call coverage, making it an excellent opportunity to expand your procedural expertise and experience.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence.
• Perform cystoscopies, catheter placements, stent placements, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, ESWL, orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy.
• Participate in clinic, operating room, and shared call coverage as scheduled.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
• Active Washington medical license required, or IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Documentation of 100 representative surgical procedures performed within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions).
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience is a plus but not required.
Working Hours
• Combination of clinic and operating room schedule
• Typical schedule includes 3 clinic days, 1 OR day, and administrative time when on call
• Approximately 7 days of unrestricted call per month
• Restricted beeper call with a 10-minute response time and 30-minute (up to 45-minute) response radius
