We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urology Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum opportunity at an Acute Care Hospital in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic, operating room procedures, hospital rounding, and daytime consults with no night or weekend call. The provider will manage adult patients with a variety of general urologic conditions while working alongside an experienced clinical and surgical support team in a modern practice environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform general urology procedures, including ureteroscopies.
• Provide outpatient clinic consultations and follow-up care.
• Conduct hospital rounds and inpatient urology consultations during daytime coverage.
• Perform surgical procedures in the operating room as scheduled.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License or IMLC Letter of Qualification required.
• Current DEA registration required.
• Minimum 3 years of Urology experience preferred (new graduates will also be considered).
• Recent Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Experience performing general urology procedures, including ureteroscopies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Mix of outpatient clinic, operating room, hospital rounds, and daytime consults.
• No night or weekend call required.
• Ongoing locum assignment with multiple scheduled coverage dates.
