Job description
Locum Urology Physician (MD/DO) opportunity in Longview, Washington. This assignment offers a mix of clinic, operating room, and optional call responsibilities, providing the opportunity to practice the full scope of urology in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of urologic conditions, including kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, and male incontinence.
Perform routine and advanced urologic procedures, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, TURP, prostate biopsy, stent placement, ESWL, hydrocelectomy, litholapaxy, and other standard urologic surgeries.
Participate in clinic, operating room, and call coverage as scheduled.
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
Active Washington medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification with eligibility for expedited licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2 years of urology experience
Documentation of at least 100 qualifying urologic procedures performed within the past 24 months
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Working Hours
Coverage: Clinic, OR, and optional call
Call: Approximately 7 days of unrestricted call per month (beeper call)
Start Date: ASAP (Upon Credentialing)
Assignment Duration: Through December 2026, with the possibility of extension
Skills
Proficiency in common urologic procedures and operative cases
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality patient care
