Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in Cottonwood, Arizona. This is a 24-hour call coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital, with operating room time and clinic responsibilities. Please see below for more information.
- 99-bed facility
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Cerner EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Perform ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy
• Perform approximately 3 to 4 surgical cases per week in the operating room
• See approximately 20 patients per day in clinic
• Perform TRUS biopsy, in-clinic vasectomy, and outpatient infant circumcision where within the provider's existing practice scope
• Utilize robotic surgical capability where applicable
• Collaborate with physician assistant support
Qualifications
• Active Arizona medical license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA
Working Hours
Approximately 2 to 6 hours of call-back activity per day
Coverage scheduled in defined date blocks
