Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in Potsdam, New York. This is an acute care hospital opportunity, primarily outpatient with inpatient consults and OR time. Please see below for more information.
- Level III Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Carry a daily patient load of approximately 20 patients
• Perform urologic procedures in clinic and in the OR, with no case limit during OR blocks
• Provide inpatient consults and post-operative rounding as needed
• Treat an adult patient population, ages 18 and older
• Provide 24-hour call coverage as scheduled
Qualifications
• Active New York medical license in hand
• Epic EMR experience
• BLS
Working Hours
Clinic hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
OR block 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Call coverage 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, flexible based on days taken
Full-time preferred; part-time coverage of two weeks per month considered
