Urologist | New York | Clinic & Call

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for a locum opportunity in Northern New York. This assignment offers a primarily outpatient practice with inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding, along with flexible call based on provider availability. Full-time coverage is preferred, but providers with partial-month availability are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Details

• Start: As soon as credentialed
• Full-time preferred
• Flexible call opportunities available

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Typical clinic hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Monday–Thursday clinic may extend to 5:30 PM
• 24-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Call schedule flexible based on provider availability

Practice Setting

• Primarily outpatient clinic
• Level III Trauma Center
• Adult patients (18+)
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• General urology clinic
• Bread-and-butter urologic procedures
• Inpatient consultations
• Post-operative rounding
• Scheduled operative cases

Patient Volume

• Approximately 20 patients per day

Operating Room

• OR block time: 7:30 AM–3:00 PM
• No case limit during block time
• Limited robotic access (typically unavailable on urology block days)

Team Structure

• 1 Full-Time Urologist
• 2 LPNs
• 2 CNAs/CMAs
• 1 Patient Representative
• 4 outpatient exam rooms

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in the United States
• Active New York medical license required
• BLS required
• Epic experience required
