Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri.
This outpatient-focused position is available immediately and is expected to continue for at least six months, providing approximately two weeks of coverage each month. The provider will participate in clinic and scheduled urologic procedures with no routine call responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a predictable schedule and a well-supported practice environment utilizing Epic EMR.

Job Responsibilities
Perform general urologic procedures
Conduct office consultations and follow-up visits
Perform advanced endoscopic urologic procedures
Perform ureteroscopy procedures
Document encounters in Epic EMR
Collaborate with referring physicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
Fellowship training required
Active Missouri medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
BLS certification required
Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges are not available)
Comfortable practicing independently in a busy outpatient setting
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Approximately two weeks per month
Long-term assignment (minimum six months)
Scheduled clinical hours only
No routine call responsibilities
