Job description
We are seeking a Urologist with surgical skills for a call-coverage locum tenens position in Olympia, Washington. This is an Acute Care Hospital role primarily providing 24-hour beeper call, covering inpatient and outpatient urology. Please see below for more information.
- Acute Care Hospital, Adult Trauma Level III/IV
- Call-only coverage: 7a-7a, 24-hour beeper call
- Coverage need is 1 week per month (typically 3-4 24-hour call shifts, potentially more)
- Callback averages 4-5 hours daily depending on cases
- Inpatient and outpatient; urology surgical skills required
- Epic EMR
- 13 week assignment (ongoing); adding 1-2 providers to the pool
Job Responsibilities
- Cover inpatient and outpatient urology
- Perform urology surgical procedures as needed
- Work 3-4 (or more) 24-hour call shifts during the coverage week
- Respond to callbacks (avg 4-5 hours daily)
Qualifications
- Urology surgical skills required
- Active Washington license or IMLC required
- DEA required
- BLS required
- Epic EMR experience
