Job description
We are seeking a Urologist with robotic (Da Vinci) surgery experience for a locum tenens position in Longview, Washington. This is an Acute Care Hospital and clinic role covering both inpatient and outpatient urology, including clinic, OR, and call. Please see below for more information.
- Da Vinci robotic surgery experience required
- Acute Care Hospital, 122 beds, Adult Trauma Level III/IV; working at the Medical Center and Urology Clinic (1 mile away)
- Both hospital and clinic privileges; inpatient and outpatient
- 8-hour clinic shifts (0800-1700 M-F) and 24-hour call; typical schedule ~3 days clinic, 1 OR day, 7 days of 24h call per month
- Call is restricted/beeper (10-minute return call, ~30-45 min radius)
- ~18 patients per day; adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- Epic EMR
- 26 week assignment (role approved through 12/31/26)
Job Responsibilities
- Take 7 days of unrestricted (beeper) call per month
- Perform standard urology procedures (cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, ESWL, and more)
- Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, male incontinence
- See ~18 patients per day
Qualifications
- Da Vinci robotic surgery experience required
- Active Washington license required at time of presentation (IMLC accepted with Letter of Qualification in hand)
- BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Washington CSR required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Case list of ~100 procedures in the previous 24 months required
- Epic EMR experience required
