Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position at Verde Valley Medical Center (Northern Arizona Healthcare) in Cottonwood, Arizona. This role provides 24-hour call coverage on specific dates from August through December. Please see below for more information.
- 99-bed acute care hospital
- Cerner EMR
- 24-hour call coverage (8a-8a); average callback 2-6 hours per day
- Approximately 20 patients per day in clinic; 3-4 surgeries per week
- Robotics available (not required)
- Required procedures: ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, flexible cystoscopy
Job Responsibilities
• Perform required procedures: ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, flexible cystoscopy
• Perform 3-4 surgeries in the OR per week
• See approximately 20 patients per day in clinic
• Optionally perform preferred procedures: TRUS biopsy, in-clinic vasectomy
• Average callback of 2-6 hours per day
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Arizona license or IMLC LOQ required; willing to license
• Active DEA required
• Recent case logs required
