Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This role includes a mix of clinic, procedures, OR, and daytime call with no night or weekend call. Please see below for more information.
- 73-bed acute care hospital
- Epic EMR
- Newly renovated urology office with 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms
- Patient volume of 40-70 per day
- Special procedures: ureteroscopies
- No pediatric patients; no night or weekend call
Job Responsibilities
• Perform daytime hospital call: rounding, consults, and OR (no templated clinic time)
• Perform special procedures including ureteroscopies
• See 40-70 patients per day
• No night or weekend call
• Collaborate with support staff (3 MAs, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, front office, practice manager)
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC/LOQ in hand required
• Active DEA required
• New grads accepted
