Job description
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in a hospital-based inpatient setting. This assignment primarily consists of adult urology call coverage with the potential to provide clinic coverage based on availability and experience. The ideal schedule is week-on/week-off, offering flexibility while supporting an established care team. Providers will utilize Epic EMR and enjoy a streamlined credentialing process with temporary privileges available.
Job Responsibilities
Respond to ED beeper call coverage and emergent urology consults.
Perform admissions and manage inpatient urology cases.
Collaborate with the hospital care team to deliver quality patient care.
Provide clinic coverage as needed based on provider availability and experience.
Qualifications
Fellowship trained in Urology.
Active Indiana medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Current BLS, ACLS, ABLS, and ATLS certifications.
Experience with adult inpatient urology and emergency call coverage.
Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred.
Working Hours
Preferred schedule is week-on/week-off coverage.
Primary responsibility is 24-hour call coverage.
