WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a BC/BE Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This assignment offers a combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, surgical coverage, and call responsibilities while supporting multiple practice locations within the region.

Assignment Highlights

• Start Date: As Soon As Available
• Coverage Type: Locum Tenens
• Commitment: Three consecutive weeks of coverage (Monday–Sunday)
• Schedule: Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic, Inpatient Hospital & Surgical Services
• Onsite Requirement: Multiple Practice Locations
  

This opportunity requires the physician to provide a blend of outpatient clinic services, inpatient consultations, surgical coverage, and 24-hour call. Providers should expect overnight call with a light daytime clinic schedule and will have support while covering the service.

Important Assignment Requirement

Candidates must acknowledge and understand that this assignment requires working at multiple locations

Coverage is approximately 50% clinic and 50% hospital/surgical responsibilities:

• Hermitage and Nesbitt Place: Outpatient clinic and call coverage
• Jameson and Horizon/Shenango Valley: Surgical coverage, inpatient services, and call

The physician will primarily provide outpatient care at the clinic locations while also delivering inpatient and surgical services at the hospital sites.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Outpatient urology clinic
• Inpatient consultations and rounding
• Surgical procedures
• 24-hour call coverage
• Thirty-minute response time while on call
• Overnight call averages 0–4 calls per night
• Average admissions while on call: 0

Candidate Requirements

• BC/BE Urologist
  
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or willing to obtain)
• Pennsylvania DEA
• ACLS, BLS, and CPR certifications
• Comfortable practicing in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Willing to travel between multiple practice locations throughout the assignment

Practice Information

• Clinic schedule: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call schedule: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Providers do not work solo
• EMR systems: Epic and Cerner
