Locum Urologist Opportunity – Washington | ASAP Start

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist (MD/DO) for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Washington. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care while providing comprehensive urologic services at a medical center and affiliated urology clinic located just one mile apart.

Position Highlights

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 0800-1700 M-F 3 days of Clinic and 1 OR. 7 days of unrestricted call per month
• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Facilities: Medical Center and Urology Clinic
• Hospital Size: 122 beds
• Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Reason for Need: Coverage gap
• Practice Environment: Solo provider

Responsibilities

• Annual follow-up visits and medication refills
• Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
• Evaluate and manage kidney stones
• Treat male urinary incontinence
• Perform cystoscopies
• Surgical assisting
• Provide comprehensive urologic care in both clinic and operating room settings

• Stent placement
• Cystoscopy
• TURP
• Ureteroscopy
• Prostate biopsy
• Circumcision
• Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
• Orchiopexy
• TURBT
• Hydrocelectomy
• Spermatocelectomy
• Photoselective Vaporization of the Prostate (PVP)
• Litholapaxy

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Active Washington medical license preferred
• Candidates with an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Letter of Qualification (LOQ) are encouraged to apply, as expedited Washington licensure may be available
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Documentation of recent clinical activity within the last 24 months
• Case log demonstrating at least 100 surgical procedures representative of requested privileges during the previous 24 months, including diagnosis/procedure, date, and facility
