Assignment Details
Dates: Ongoing; updated start date to be confirmed
Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week; days and times flexible
OR: 2–3 days per week; clinic allocation to be confirmed
Call: System beeper call based in Wausau, 7–10 days per month including one weekend
Call commitment: Varies with assignment length; 30-minute response time
Coverage type: Clinic, OR, and call
Volume: Approximately 16 clinic patients per shift
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Outreach: May include 1–2 days per month in Wisconsin Rapids
Support: 1 RN, 2 MAs, 2 APPs, and 1 office staff member
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details
Required: Adult general urology, admissions, and assigned-patient rounding
Preferred: Advanced endoscopy, laparoscopy, PCNL, ureteroscopy, and ESWL
Preferred: Robotic surgery, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, cystectomy, and other advanced urologic procedures
Preferred: TRUS biopsies, fertility evaluation, and incontinence procedures
Pediatric and neonatal general urology not required
No APP or resident supervision required
Requirements
BC Urology required
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
BLS
Active DEA
Ability to meet a 30-minute call response time
