Urology Opportunity in Phoenix, AZ
Position Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join a physician-led academic surgery department serving a Level I Trauma and Burn Center in Phoenix. This employed faculty position offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient general urology, resident education, robotic surgery, and opportunities to expand a growing robotics program.
Practice Details:
Full-time employed academic position
Mix of inpatient and outpatient general urology
Shared call coverage
Faculty appointment with resident teaching responsibilities
Opportunity to help develop and expand the robotic urology program
Collaborative multidisciplinary practice environment
Clinical Responsibilities:
Provide elective and emergent general urology care
Perform open, endoscopic, and robotic urologic procedures
Participate in inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic
Shared call responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
Participate in clinical research opportunities

Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Completion of an accredited Urology residency
Eligible for unrestricted Arizona medical license
Fellowship training or significant robotic surgery experience preferred
Interest in academic medicine and resident education
