Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Locum tenens urology coverage position focused on inpatient call coverage24-hour beeper call schedule, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
Coverage need is approximately 1 week per month, with 3-4 24-hour call shifts scheduled per week (additional shifts possible based on provider comfort and census)
Average callback is 4-5 hours daily, varying depending on cases
Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
Board certification required; active license or IMLC required; DEA required
BLS certification required
General urology skills required, with adult patient population focus
Preferred skills include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
Seeking 1-2 additional locum providers to add to existing coverage pool
