Job Responsibilities - Provide expert urology surgical care during on-call hours. - Handle a typical patient encounter volume of 15 per shift. - Manage emergency cases and perform necessary procedures within urology specialty. - Collaborate with other medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications - Board Certified in Urology - Active medical license or eligibility for IMLC - Must hold a current DEA certification - Advanced certification in BLS, preferred experience in specific urology procedures
Working Hours - 24-hour call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM - Coverage includes approximately 4–5 hours of callbacks per day
Skills - Proficiency in general urology - Experience with percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) preferred - Familiarity with renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and incontinence procedures - Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
