Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in Potsdam, NY. This is a 26-week locum tenens assignment providing comprehensive urological care in an outpatient clinic setting with inpatient consult responsibilities. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Manage outpatient clinic with approximately 20 patients per provider per day
Perform urology procedures including bread and butter urology cases
Provide inpatient consults, post-operative rounding, and surgical procedures
Perform OR procedures during scheduled block time (7:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Participate in flexible 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) based on provider availability
Qualifications
New York medical license in hand required
DEA registration required
BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
Clinic hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
OR block time: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (no case limit)
24-hour call coverage available (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM), flexible based on provider availability
