We are seeking a Urology physician for a 24-hour on-call locum tenens position in DuBois, PA. This opportunity provides comprehensive urologic coverage at a busy regional trauma center serving as the hub for multiple affiliated facilities. Please see below for more information.
280 beds
Trauma Level 2
EMR: Cerner (inpatient)
Job Responsibilities
Provide kidney stone treatment including possible extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy
Manage urologic emergencies including torsion of testicle (rare)
Treat UTI and perform consultations for Foley catheter placement
Provide ED and inpatient consultations
Round on inpatient urology patients in AM
Serve as urologic hub coverage for affiliated Penn Highlands facilities (Clearfield, Elk, Brookville)
Adult patient population only
Qualifications
Pennsylvania State License or IMLC (required)
DEA
ACLS, BLS
Minimum 1 year experience (2 years preferred)
Working Hours
PRN coverage for specific dates as needed
