We are seeking a Urology Physician for a locum tenens position in Longview, WA. This is a combined inpatient and outpatient opportunity covering both a medical center and an affiliated urology clinic, with robotic (Da Vinci) surgical responsibilities. Please see below for more information.
- 122 beds
- Trauma Level: Adult III/IV
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Perform robotic-assisted (Da Vinci) surgical procedures
Perform procedures including catheter placement, stent placement, cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy
Provide surgical assist; manage yearly refills
Diagnose and treat conditions including erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence
Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Qualifications
Active Washington state medical license required (IMLC accepted with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand)
DEA registration
Washington Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
ACLS
BLS
Da Vinci robotic surgery experience
Surgical case list required: 100 surgical procedures within the last 24 months
Working Hours
24-hour call coverage
Restricted/beeper call with a 10-minute return-call response time and a 30-minute radius
