Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in York, PA. This is a hospital-based opportunity providing 24-hour on-call coverage at a Level I trauma center, with a mix of procedures and office visits. Please see below for more information.
Level I trauma center
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Perform core urologic procedures: vasectomy, cystoscopy (OR), prostate procedures, ureteroscopy (OR), lithotripsy, orchiopexy, and penile implants (rare)
Manage a mix of cystoscopy/stent procedures and office visits, approximately 24–28 patients per day
Supervise Advanced Practice Providers
Manage an adult patient population (18+), plus pediatric emergency torsion cases
Work in a facility with robotic surgery availability and 16 operating rooms
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license
DEA
Working Hours
Approximately 2–6 hours of callback per day
