Job description
We are seeking a Urologist for a locum tenens position in Providence, RI. This is a general urology opportunity with both inpatient and outpatient coverage. Please see below for more information.
- 110 beds
- EMR: Meditech (inpatient) / Athena (outpatient)
Job Responsibilities
Outpatient clinic: 20–25 patients per day
Inpatient rounding: 4–10 patients per day (rounds at both hospitals)
Surgeries: 8–10 per day/week
Manage general urologic conditions, including cancers
Adult patients only (18+)
Support staff: 3 partners, PA, MA, and MS for outpatient
Qualifications
Active Rhode Island medical license
Rhode Island DEA
Rhode Island CSR
BLS
ACLS
Working Hours
Weekend call: 5:00p Friday to 8:00a Monday
Coverage: 1 week/weekend per month
