A healthcare facility in Potsdam, New York is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a full-time locums opportunity. The facility is experiencing provider shortages and is looking for a physician who can support a busy outpatient urology practice along with inpatient consults and procedural coverage as needed. Flexible call options are available based on provider availability.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform bread-and-butter urology procedures and evaluations
• Conduct inpatient consults, post-operative rounding, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical support staff
• Manage approximately 20 patients per day
• Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR
• Participate in optional 24-hour call coverage based on availability
Qualifications
• Active New York medical license required at submission
• BLS certification required
• Recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong outpatient and procedural urology experience preferred
• Clean, updated work history with no unexplained gaps over 30 days
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Clinic currently operates Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Optional 24-hour call available (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Full-time coverage highly preferred
