Job description
We are seeking a Urology physician for a locum tenens position in Cottonwood, AZ. This is a clinic, OR, and call coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
- Beds: 99
- Trauma Level: IV
- EMR: Cerner
Job Responsibilities
Perform 10–15 procedures per week
Perform 3–4 OR surgeries per week
Perform required procedures including ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy
Perform TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy (preferred)
Utilize robotics as available (not required)
Provide night and 24-hour beeper call coverage on scheduled dates
Work alongside 1 employed urologist and assigned MAs
Qualifications
Active Arizona state license (IMLC accepted)
DEA
Working Hours
July 1–3 and July 29–31: 8:00a–5:00p with night beeper call 5:00p–8:00a
July 4–5, August 1–2, August 15–16: 24-hour beeper call 8:00a–8:00a
Start Date: 7/1/2026
Contract Length: Coverage dates July through December
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
