• We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a Level I Trauma Center in York, PA.
• This position offers 24-hour beeper call coverage with a mix of inpatient consults, procedures, and office support.
• Work alongside experienced support staff and newly added APPs in a collaborative hospital setting.
• Opportunity to perform robotic procedures if desired, though not mandatory.
• Ideal for providers seeking flexible block scheduling with strong earning potential.

Job Responsibilities
• Manage inpatient consults and emergency urologic cases
• Perform urologic procedures including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, prostate procedures, and vasectomies
• Participate in robotic surgery cases if applicable
• Supervise APPs as needed
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR
• Manage patient volumes averaging 24–28 patients per day when applicable
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania License preferred for faster start (licensing assistance available)
• DEA Required
• Minimum 1 year of urology experience preferred
• Experience with general urology procedures required
• Clean credentialing file preferred for temporary privileges
Working Hours
• Coverage Dates Include:
• May 15 (7A) – May 18 (7A)
• June 1 (7A) – June 5 (7A)
• June 8 (7A) – June 12 (7A)
• June 22 – June 26 (until 5P)
• Callback averages 2–6 hours/day
Skills
• Emergency urologic management
• Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required
• Strong procedural and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
