• We are seeking a skilled Urology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity at a high-acuity hospital in York, PA.
• This role offers 24-hour call coverage with a mix of inpatient consults, procedures, and limited clinic interaction.
• Work in a well-equipped facility with 16 operating rooms and access to robotic surgery.
• Join a collaborative team with strong clinical support and the opportunity to supervise APPs.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform urologic procedures such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and prostate procedures
• Manage patient volume of approximately 24–28 patients when clinic involvement occurs
• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as required
• Respond to callbacks averaging 2–6 hours per day
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and surgical settings
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (Preferred for faster start)
• Valid DEA License (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of urology experience
• Experience with general urology procedures required
• Clean credentialing file for expedited processing (~90 days)

• July 4 – July 10
• July 27 – July 31
• August 3 – August 10
• August 17 – August 21
• August 31 – September 7
Skills
• Experience with cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and lithotripsy
• Familiarity with robotic surgery (preferred, not required)
• Ability to manage emergency and inpatient cases independently
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
