Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity to provide coverage within a well-supported hospital setting with a strong clinical team in place.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Schedule: 24-hour weekend call coverage
- Coverage Type: Beeper call with rounding responsibilities
- Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15–20 patients per day
- Rounding: 2–4 inpatients on average
Clinical Responsibilities:
- General urology call coverage
- Inpatient rounding and consults
- Outpatient support as needed
- Broad scope of urology procedures including:
- Endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures
- Ureteroscopy and nephrolithotomy
- Prostate and bladder procedures
- Robotic surgery (preferred)
Support Staff:
- Established team including physicians, PAs, and NPs
- Strong nursing and administrative support
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC eligibility
- Fellowship training preferred but not required
- Ability to obtain privileges (temporary privileges available)
