We are actively seeking a Urologist for a locum opportunity in Potsdam, NY. This is a full-time coverage need due to current staffing gaps, offering a mix of outpatient care, inpatient consults, procedures, and rounding.
The role provides flexibility with call schedules and consistent patient volume in a supportive clinical environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform urological procedures as needed
• Handle inpatient consults and post-operative rounding
• Manage approximately 20 patients per day
• Participate in optional call coverage (24-hour call available)
• Collaborate with support staff including LPNs, CMAs, and patient coordinators
• Document using Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Active New York license required (in hand)
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Clean and updated work history (no significant gaps)
Working Hours
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Extended Clinic (Mon–Thu): 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call: Optional (24-hour call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Full-time coverage preferred
Skills
• Ability to balance clinic, procedures, and inpatient responsibilities
