Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Urology
Job Details:
• Full-time urology locum PA coverage starting in June with 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month availability preferred
• Work alongside an MD partner throughout the entire week
• Hospital privileges required for patient rounding and consultations
• Monday-Friday schedule: 7:00 AM - 9:30 AM inpatient rounds, notes, and inbox management
• Monday-Friday schedule: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM clinic and inbox duties
• Handle approximately 13 patient encounters per shift
• Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 8 hours (pre-approval required)
• Must maintain active California license and California DEA
• Surgical assist experience required (may not be assisting in surgeries during initial period)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Board certification required (minimum board eligible accepted)
• Urology experience preferred
• Direct physician interview process for interested candidates
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
