• We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a locums opportunity at an acute care hospital in Potsdam, NY.
• This role is primarily outpatient with inpatient consults, procedures, and post-operative rounding as needed.
• The facility is currently experiencing a provider shortage, making this a high-priority full-time coverage role.
• The position offers a balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and call opportunities in a collaborative setting.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform urological procedures and manage treatment plans.
• Conduct inpatient consults and post-operative rounding as needed.
• See approximately 20 patients per day.
• Collaborate with clinical staff for coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system.
• Participate in on-call coverage as agreed upon.
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Urology.
• Active New York State License (in hand).
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Clean and consistent work history with no gaps over 30 days.
• Malpractice disclosure required (if applicable).
Working Hours
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Clinic hours: Monday – Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• 24-hour call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (flexible based on availability)
• OR block time: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Mix of outpatient clinic, procedures, and inpatient consults
